Summary:
This study aims to discuss the factors affecting the acceptance and
application of the electronic endowment in the Kingdom of Bahrain,
through a study conducted by the researcher on activating the
electronic endowment to advance the endowment system in the
Kingdom of Bahrain. To discuss the questions of the study and
achieve its objectives, the researcher used the combined method
that gathers between questioner and regular interviews, where she
conducted interviews with a sample of dealers with Islamic banks.
Those dealing with Islamic banks believe that (perceived interest
and ease of use) are sufficient factors to accept the application of
the electronic cash endowment in the Kingdom of Bahrain. The
results of the analysis of the interviews that the researcher
conducted with clients of Islamic banks in the Kingdom of Bahrain
indicated that perceived religiosity and the amount of information
are among the important factors affecting the acceptance of the
application of the idea of electronic endowment in the Kingdom of
Bahrain. The study also concluded that (54%) of those dealing with
Islamic banks believe that the importance of activating the 7
electronic endowment to advance the endowment system in the
Kingdom of Bahrain is a very important idea that must be adopted
and applied. We also find that (90%) of the individuals dealing with
Islamic banks who were interviewed to discuss factors for
accepting the application of the electronic cash endowment in the
Kingdom of Bahrain believe that interaction with the electronic
endowment (via the Internet) will be more flexible and easier than
interacting with the traditional endowment.
