Abstract :
This study aimed to ensure the effectiveness of therapeutic interventions for grief among sample of woman after unintended abortion in Kingdom of Bahrain. The researcher followed quasi-experimental design of one shot group. The sample of the study consisted of (10) women suffered from unintended abortion in Kingdom of Bahrain. The therapeutic interventions (program) were applied in order to achieve the objectives of the study. A statistical analysis was conducted (means, standard deviation and Wilcoxon test). The program consisted (12) therapeutic session, two to three sessions weekly were applied with duration of (45-60) minutes for each. The researcher designed the measure of sadness and grief, consisted of (25 items) and four criteria. The reliability was (a = 0.84). The results revealed that there were statistically significant differences at the significance level (a = 0.05) among the sample members in the level of sadness and grief on the pre-post test design applied. The results also showed that there were no statistically significant differences at the level (a = 0.05) in the level of sadness and grief on the two post and follow-up measurements.
