English Abstract
Abstract : A Gift to those who contemplate the wonders of cities and the marvels of travelling: a cultural narrative approach This study dealt with identity and otherness in Ibn Battuta's journey (Tuhfat al-Nazar in the strangeness of cities and the wonders of travel, where Ibn Battuta's journey is considered a major secret blog of the narratives of the Arab-Islamic journey. It relied on the investigations of Dr. Abdel-Hadi Al-Tami in the details of this study. The study divisions were divided into an introductory topic, three chapters and a conclusion: The introductory topic dealt with: the entrance to the central concepts and awareness and their cognitive transformations by presenting the concept of both the concept of cultural representations and the concept of identity and its relationship to the ego and the other The first chapter dealt with the literary discourse of the journey in Ibn Battuta's journey by highlighting the relationship between the journey that represented a great journey in which Ibn Battuta traveled approximately one thousand and one hundred and twenty kilometers and it is a multi-level text from the depths of the past and the traveler is Ibn Battuta called him the Sheikh of the traveler and he is a historian A Moroccan judge and jurist had an undeniable merit in drawing images of the other in the north, east and south, and the relationship between narration and description, as well as the cultural narrative approach in that journey, by examining the place, representations of the audience, cultural techniques and their impact on highlighting cultural identity. The second chapter dealt with the representations of identity in Ibn Battuta's journey (a study in the mechanisms of meaning and significance) through highlighting the concept of identity and its forms and the relationship between the self and the narrative identity and the opinions of writers on that, then the heterosexual identity in Arab culture and in Ibn Battuta's journey. The third chapter dealt with representations of altruism in the journey of Tuhfat al-Nazar in the strangeness of the cities and the wonders of travel by Ibn Battuta, A study in the mechanisms of the formation of meaning and significance, where representations are one of the mechanisms that travelers use to express their journey clearly, and narration, as one of the representation mechanisms of travelers, is a goal in itself as it is the method of transmitting the cultures that Ibn Battuta experienced and passed through on his journey. In conclusion, there are many conclusions and recommendations, the most important of which is that Ibn Battuta's journey is considered a cultural reference for the Middle Ages, for him cultural analogies were manifested in their best forms, due to the accuracy of his expression and the beauty of his pronunciation, and the accuracy of the description that he employed to convey this culture, so his memoirs were the main factor in The transfer of these cultural representations at that time, and the cultural representations in Ibn Battuta's journey reflect reality to a large extent, and the text of Ibn Battuta's journey came as a narrative text, narrating the events and depicting characters. The narration and description in the journey of (Ibn Battuta) represented the literature of the journey, and they were traveling according to two parallel lines, and they might intersect at a specific point so that one of them would give a way to the other to set off depending on specific linguistic contexts and structures. Ibn Battuta excelled in highlighting the mechanisms of narrative, narrative and narrative production, as Ibn Battuta attached great importance to man in the various contexts of narration and description that he wrote during his journey. He focused on his interaction with nature and its conditions, as well as the relationship between him and the place, so he depicted pictures of social life and its sophistication and luxury, as well as poverty and destitution in the lives of peoples. The description in Ibn Battuta's journey took various forms and shapes, according to the observer's gaze and his continuous observation.

الملخص :

تُحْفَةَ النَّظَارِ فِي غَرَائِبِ الْأَمْصَارِ وَعَجَائِبِ الْأَسْفَارِ لابن بُطُوطَةٍ، مُقَارَبَةٌ سَرْدِيَّةً ثَقَافِيَّةً

تَناوَلَتْ هَذِهِ الدَّرَاسَةِ الْهُوَيَّةِ وَالْغَيْرِيَّةِ فِي رِحْلَةِ ابْنِ بطوطة ( تُحْفَةَ النَّظَارِ فِي غَرَائِبِ الْأَمْصَارِ وَعَجَائِبِ الْأَسْفَار)، إذ تَعَدٍ رِحْلَةِ ابْنِ بُطُوطَةٍ مُدَوَّنَةٍ سِرِّديَّةٍ كَبْرَى مِنْ سَرْدِيَاتِ الرِّحْلَةِ الْعَرَبِيَّةِ الإسلامية.

وَقَدِ اعْتَمَدَتْ عَلَى تَحْقِيقَاتٍ د عَبْدَ الْهَادِي التازي في تفصيلات هَذِهِ الدِّرَاسَةِ وَكَانَتْ تَقْسِيمَاتُ الدِّرَاسَةِ مُوَزِّعِهِ عَلَى مَبْحَثِ تَمْهِيدِي ثَلَاثَةِ فُصُولٍ وَخَاتِمَةٍ:

الْمَبْحَثُ التَّمْهِيدِي تَنَاوَلَتْ فِيهِ : مَدْخَلُ الْمَفَاهِيمِ الْمَرْكَزِيَّة وَالْوَعْيِ بِتَحْوَّلَاتِهَا الْمَعْرِفِيَّةِ وَذَلِكَ مَنْ خِلَالَ عَرَّضَ مَفْهُومٌ كِلَا مِنْ مَفهوم التمثيلات الثَّقَافِيَّةِ وَمَفْهُومِ الْهُوِيَّةِ وَعَلَاقَتِهَا بِالآنَا وَالْآخِرَ.

الْفَضْلُ الْأَوَّلُ تَنَاوَلَتْ أَدَبِيَّةُ خِطَابِ الرِّحْلَةِ فِي رِحْلَةِ ابْنِ بُطُوطةِ مِنْ خِلَالَ إِبْرَازِ الْعَلَاقَةِ بَيْنَ الرَّحْلَةِ الَّتِي مَثْلَتُ سَفَرَا عَظِيماً قطع فِيهِ ابْنَ بُطُوطَةٍ مَا يُقَارِبُ مِنْ أَلْفًا وَمِائَةٍ وَعِشْرِينَ كِيلُوَ مِثْراً وَهِي بِمَثَابَةِ نَصْ مُتَعَدِّدِ الْمُسْتَوَيَاتِ مِنْ أَعْمَاقِ الماضي والرَّحَالَةَ هُوَ ابْنُ بُطُوطَةِ الَّذِي أَطْلَقَ عَلِيَّةُ شَيْخ الرَّحَالَةِ وَهُوَ مُؤرّخٌ وَقَاضٍ وفَقِيهُ مَغْرِبِي فَقَدْ كَانَ لَهُ فَضْلٌ لا يُنْكِرُ فِي رَسْمِ صُورِ الْآخِرِ فِي الشِّمَالِ وَالشَّرْقِ وَالْجَنُوبِ . كما تناولت في هذا الفصل العلاقة بَيْنَ السَّرْدِ وَالْوَصْفِ وَكَذَلِكَ الْمُقَارَبَةِ السَّرْدِيَّةِ الثَّقَافِيَّةِ فِي تِلْكَ الرِّحْلَةِ وَذَلِكَ مَنْ خِلَالَ مُعَايَنَةِ الْمَكَانِ وَتَمْثِيلَاتِ الْحُضُورِ وَتَقْنِيَّاتِ الثَّقَافَةِ وَأَثَرِهَا فِي إِبْرَازِ الْهُوِيَّةِ الثَّقَافِيَّةِ.

الفضل الثاني تناولت فيه تمثيلات الهوية فِي رِحْلَةِ ابْنِ بطوطة ( دِرَاسَةً فِي آلِيَّاتِ تَشَكُلِ الْمُعَنِّى

وَالدَّلَالَةِ مِنْ خِلَالَ إِبْرَازِ مَفْهُومِ الهُويَّةِ واشكالها والعلاقة بين الذات وَالْهُوِيَّةَ السَّرْدِيَّةَ وأَراء الْأَدَبَاءَ فِي ذَلِكَ ثُمَّ الْهُويَّةُ الغَيْرِيَّة في الثقافة الْعَرَبِيَّةِ وَفِي رِحْلَةِ ابْنِ بُطُوطَة.
