Abstract :
The current study aimed to identify the reality for the work in the Department of Public Relations and Information at the Ministry of Education and its communication activities in the social networking networks by answering the questions and hypotheses of the study and learning about the size and quality of content related to the education sector in Bahrain, Communicate the meeting in the development of organizational and media policies to manage the public relations and media in the ministry. This study was conducted in the context of the analytical survey methodology. The study used the analytical descriptive method in analyzing the study data by designing the form of the analysis of the contents of the social networks from 1 June 2015 to 30 December 2015.
The most important results of the analysis of the contents of social networks:
• Most of the content of the messages published in the social networks related to the educational and administrative body followed by content related to administrative decisions, whether for the contents of accounts known and non-phantom or the contents of accounts unknown and significant.
• Twitter has been the most widely used tool for disseminating content related to the Ministry of Education.
• The phrases in the contents of the social networks in terms of the form of the phrase were negative in the number of recurrences 257 by 49.9% and positive by 213 recurrences by 8.7%.
• Frequently, the Ministry of Education does not respond to the contents of social networks related to the Ministry of Education.
There is a statistically significant relationship between the number and quantity of social media content and the time of its publication. This is evidenced by the analysis of content. The number of content published in the social communication networks related to the Ministry of Education increased in September, October and November to coincide with the beginning of the academic year
The most important results of interviews with employees of the electronic media team in the Department of Public Relations and Information at the Ministry of Education:
• 50% of the respondents see the importance of responding to the observations and inquiries of the public.
• 50% of the respondents see the importance of addressing the public by the means that they use more.
50% of the respondents believe that the need to qualify employees on how to use electronic content production programs.
50% of the respondents see the importance of responding to official accounts and not publicly known.
• All respondents agreed that it is useful to take advantage of the echo of the response received by responding to repeated observations and clarify in more than one media (such as the press, radio and social networks)
• 75% of the respondents consider the importance of benefiting from the echo of the echo to evaluate performance and develop the work of the Ministry of Education.
• 50% of the respondents believe that responding to public queries during a short period of the most important developments currently taking place.
• All respondents agreed on the most important development of the organizational structure is the establishment of an electronic media group.
