Abstract :
This study aims to show the relationship between mindfulness, stresses, and the psychological adaptation among students at University of Bahrain and to identify the significance of gender differences between all variances, and to identify the level of mindfulness among university students depending on the sex variable (male, female). To achieve the objectives of the research, the researcher has prepared three measures: mindfulness scale of (14) items, the stresses of life scale of (15) items, and psychological adaptation scale of (15) items, where the research sample was randomly selected (510) students (160 male and 350 female) from different colleges at the University of Bahrain. The results indicated that there were statistically significant differences (0.052a) in mindfulness and stresses between the sexes in favor of female students and the value of P (0.000), the present study did not reveal statistically significant differences in psychological adaptation between the sexes while there is a positive correlation mindfulness, stresses and psychological adaptation between the sexes, the study reached some suggestions, recommendations and future studies.
