Abstract : The year 2020 witnessed the declaration of COVID-19 as a global pandemic, impacting countries and industries worldwide. Extensive research has been conducted to understand its effects and mitigate similar events in the future. However, there remains a significant gap in the literature, necessitating further in-depth investigation, particularly regarding the consequences of COVID-19 on the Kingdom of Bahrain's oil and gas sector, which forms the backbone of its economy. This study aims to assess the impact of COVID-19 on project management dimensions, including Cost, Schedule, Quality, and Safety. To achieve this, a questionnaire was developed using published literature, encompassing 90 different factors across various categories. The questionnaire was distributed to a population of 272 project managers and members, yielding a 51% response rate. The survey findings indicate that COVID-19 had a slight negative impact on the cost, schedule, and quality dimensions within the reviewed oil and gas company. Conversely, it had a slightly positive impact on the Safety dimension. These survey results were validated by cross-checking against actual data collected from the oil and gas company, ensuring the consistency of the conclusions. By examining the specific impacts of COVID-19 on project management dimensions in the oil and gas sector, this study provides valuable insights to enhance the sector's resilience and inform strategies for future crisis management.
