Abstract :
Every organization aims to enhance employee work performance since it is a crucial factor for success. To this end, the current study has significantly contributed to our understanding of the significance of certain aspects that can enhance employees' job performance. The study evaluated the influence of job security and organizational support in predicting work performance, with employee engagement as a mediator. The study used structural equation modeling to demonstrate the direct and indirect significance of the relationship between job security and organizational support in enhancing job performance. The statistical findings demonstrated that an employee's perception of job security could assist them in improving their performance at work. Similarly, when employees receive great support, admiration, and recognition for their efforts, it directly enhances their job performance. Moreover, the findings indicate that job stability and organizational support improve a sense of belonging, dedication, and enthusiasm at work or engagement, which boosts job performance. The results have significant implications for theory and practice, followed by a discussion of limitations and opportunities for further research. Keywords: Job performance, job security, organizational support, employee engagement, mediation
