Abstract :
Purpose: This thesis emphasises studying status of employee turnover and different factors affecting it in institutions of private healthcare institutions sector in the kingdom of Bahrain. This thesisintends to study the relationship between Incentives, Leadership, Motivation, Participate in Decision Making, and Training and Development on Retention of Employees in private healthcare institutions in the kingdom of Bahrain.
Design/Methodology/Approach: The quantitative research methodology has been chosen to help answer the research questions. While the deductive approach is more effective in this study because it allows the researcher to reason from generic to specific, the inductive approach works best here. The survey includes a self-administered questionnaire for which the primary data has been gathered, and an online questionnaire, the construction of which mainly depends on the Likert Scale (rating scale of 5 points) formed by the questionnaire. In the kingdom of Bahrain, which is an oil-rich country, the sample size is set at around 300-350 of the private healthcare company employees. a survey was conducted by randomly selecting respondents using a sample random sampling method. Survey and SPSS were used to form the survey and Excel and Word were used to generate the data.
Finding: The result of the study shows that organizational approaches and HRM Practices have a positive relationship with Retention of Employees.
Originality/value: This thesis evaluates existing researches and provides suggestions for future research.
