Abstract :
The research aimed to develop productive thinking skills in chemistry among secondary school students in the Kingdom of Bahrain through the use of the CORT program.
The research relied on an experimental approach with a quasi-experimental design. The research sample (58) students from the first year of secondary school in Bahrain were selected and divided into two experimental groups. And equally controlled, the following tools were used: (testing productive thinking
skills, both creative and critical),The results showed that there was a statistically significant difference between the average scores of the students of the experimental and control groups in
the post-measurement of the test of productive thinking skills, both its creative and critical parts, in chemistry in favor of the experimental group, and the existence of a statistically significant difference between the average scores of the students of the experimental group in the pre- and post-measurement of the test of productive thinking skills, both its creative and critical sides. In chemistry in favor of post-application, one of the most important recommendations was holding training courses
for chemistry teachers at the secondary level. For the purpose of developing their abilities to use the CORT program in its various parts, especially the fourth part, and employing it with various applications to
develop teaching skills and build teaching environments concerned with developing productive thinking for secondary school students.
